The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) is committed to being the end of breast cancer by advancing the world's most promising research. Founded by Evelyn H. Lauder in 1993, BCRF-funded investigators have been deeply involved in every major breakthrough in breast cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment and survivorship. BCRF is proud to support stellar research in the Boston area. This year, BCRF is funding 39 scientists from New England's premier academic medical institutions. Boston is a center of scientific excellence and BCRF has awarded more than $8 million in grants this year and over $73 million cumulatively to lifesaving research in the region. BCRF is the highest rated breast cancer organization in the U.S. - the only one with an "A+" from CharityWatch and Charity Navigator's highest rating of four stars.
